MGLAS 2019

MGLAS (Maldives Geographical Land Area Survey) is an independent survey. It was NOT carried out by the Government of the Republic of Maldives.

All calculations were carried out using Google Maps and Daftlogic Area Calculator.

ACCURACY OF THE TOOLS

The accuracy of these tools were tested by calculating the area of the Vatican City using the two tools and comparing the results with the known area (44 hectares). The tools were proved to be very accurate, and this has also been demonstrated on online videos such as this.
